Getting a Divorce. We both have attorneys. Its pretty simple actually with equal time split on the kids. Furniture items is easy as we have had separate bank accounts. Nothing really is in our names for us to fight over.
Been dating a month with a new girlfriend. Her friends are into the whole Middle Ages deal such as http://www.sca.org/ Its kindof cool really. Shes really affectionate, likes to hold hands, hug, kiss in public more than my ex-wife really did. I am liking the fact that a gf who actual likes me and just doesn't treat me like a roommate since I take care of the kids during the day and I work nights.

I wanted to ask how things turned out, but I didn't want to pry. I'm happy to hear you've moved on; from what you posted about your relationship with your soon-to-be-ex, you deserved better. It sounds like you've found it.

The good news is sooner or later all the weddings stop. But that like 5 year run everyone goes through where you're hitting like 3 weddings every summer is fucking TEDIOUS.

    Good luck and godspeed.

Our firm wrapped up another round of fundraising last month, so I'm travelling much less. That means I needed to work off 8 lbs of road food fat. As such, I took on a landscaping project to do the side and back yard at our house in Denver. It's mostly thereapeutic. After a day sitting on my ass, digging and moving dirt and rocks for a couple hours a night really helps me relax.

There were 90 years of landscaping project over landscaping project I've had to remove to get back to the original level of the property. I took off six yards of pea gravel, which I put on my sister-in-law's driveway. I've also excavated another 16 yards of dirt below the pea gravel, which we piled on our driveway (and had taken off our property thanks to several Craigslist postings). I also made friends with my neighbors on the adjacent blocks by giving away several pickup truckloads of river rock and granite blocks. Last week I installed a new wrought iron fence and am in the middle of adding stations to our sprinkler system. I'm taking Thursday and Friday off so I can finally lay sod, edging and barkdust. By Sunday, I expect to be drinking a cold beer and enjoying my new yard!

Yes, my life really is that boring.

 Agreed. If we're not going to build the damn fence along the boarder, might as well do it to protect our own homes.

Thanks. The worst part is a lot of my friends have moved away the last couple of years and now all the weddings are in different states. I live in PA and the weddings have been in NJ, Myrtle Beach, SC and now i have to go to Arizona in 2 weeks. Then my friend wants a destination wedding in Hawaii and i don't have a job. it really sucks

Cool to hear what's going on with you guys. Congrats OSUBlazerFan. As for me, I've been back and forth between L.A. and NYC. I'm currently in L.A. I auditioned for a pilot for the Syfy network last week. I thought it went well but I haven't heard anything back so I probably didn't get it. I've been enjoying watching the playoffs. I've played a season on NBA 2K10 with 12 minute quarters. I finished 62-20 on a 15 game win streak. It's the first time I've ever won 60 games in a season and it's the longest win streak I've ever had. Now I'm in the playoffs and I'm up 2-0 on the Thunder in the first round. Tonight, I'm meeting some friends in downtown L.A. and then I play the midnight poker tournament at The Bicycle Casino.

In other news, my 22 year old brother just had his first baby. Elijah Francis Millegan. Very cute.

Eric you can look at my Facebook to get a glimpse into my life... if you dare! :)

The last couple of nights I rearranged the furniture in my living room. I am very lazy, though, and what a normal man might get done in three hours is going to take the better part of three evenings for me :)

I'm currently serving on jury that could result with the defendant getting serious jail time.
