Too lazy to post a link. bbc is PROBABLY gonna call this one of my "stupid" posts. Apparently, PJax is on the Cavs short list for Mike Brown's replacements. Others include Izzo and Coach K. Why they think PJax is going to leave the Lakers for the Cavs, or why Coach K is going to go to Cleveland after being adamant he isn't going to coach in the NBA (and turning down a coaching job in LA for that matter) is beyond me.
He might be on their list, but Cleveland isn't on HIS list. Coach K also said no thanks. When LeBron bolts that has to be one of the least desirable coaching jobs available.
He won't go there. When it comes down to it, Buss will give him anywhere from $9-$11 million if we win another ring. He won't bolt L.A. if he has a shot at a 3-peat. If with Pjax, Cleveland ain't winning shit for a very long time.

Seriously, WTF. Isn't there a rule that these fucking morons can't reach out to a coach/player until after the season is over? If Mark Cuban got fined $100,000 for his LeBron comments, I hope Chicago is fined double that, at least. LeBron is sitting somewhere watching his mom get fucked by Delonte West while Phil has a team on the verge of the NBA Finals.
This team doesn't need Phil. He's already overpaid and he's been spoiled throughout his career, so I wouldn't be surprised if he moves. I wish him well though. The other teams should get him to lure in free agents, use his name.
The only reason Buss wants PJax to take a paycut is the looming CBA negotiations. He doesn't want to have to pay a coach big money if there's going to be a lockout. H.K. I disagree with you this team does need PJax. He's a phenomenal coach and the rings to back it up. If you look at the current coaches in the league right now only a handful have made it to the Finals. You can probably count them on one hand. It's hard to just go out and replace PJax.
It is tampering and they'll be fined. Maybe PJax agent is posturing here to get Buss to pay more? PJax is focused on winning another title.
I also agree that PJax is needed. I may not agree with his decisions, but his has produced 4 rings for the Lakers' and 6 for the Bulls. He's a master at motivating people and getting major egos to click. There is a reason why they brought back Phil when Rudy T. stepped down. Kobe wanted Phil for a reason, and it has worked.
Chris Webber was on the DP show this morning and said "trust me, nba players don't view Chicago as a top destination." Webber also said is was stupid for the Cavs to go public with their attempt to bring LeBron back.
