Freshman twins David and Travis Wear, who recently left North Carolina, are transferring to UCLA and sent in signed paperwork this morning, their mother confirmed to ESPN.com. "They love UCLA," Gloria Wear said. "Great school, great coach, great program. Why would they want to leave home?" The Long Beach Press-Telegram first reported the news of the former McDonald's All-Americans headed to UCLA, which is closer to their Huntington Beach, Calif., home. UCLA coach Ben Howland recruited the 6-foot-10 forwards out of high school, and they should provide a frontcourt presence for the Bruins, though they will have to sit out the coming season because of transfer rules. Travis Wear averaged 3.5 points and 2.2 rebounds in 32 games. David Wear averaged 2.9 points and 1.7 rebounds in 27 games, missing the final nine games of the season with a torn labrum in his left hip. http://sports.espn.go.com/los-angeles/news/story?id=5219398
