    Dominique Jones
    6'5" w/shoes
    6'9.25" wingspan
    8'5" reach
    PG/SG

    Paul George
    6'8.75" w/shoes
    6'11.25" wingspan
    8'11" reach
    SF/PF

Seems like an odd match-up. I wonder if he actually meant Damion James, the 6'8" SF/PF out of Texas?

Yeah working just those 2 out doesn't really make much sense to me either.

Dominique Jones seems intriguing; athletic, aggressive combo guard; kind of a bigger Bayless except he seems to be rated higher defensively and he has developed a floater that Draft Express says may be the best in the country. If he could develop a longrange jumpshot he could be ideal. http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Dominique-Jones-5052/

And the Blazers could be leaking incorrect information to try to keep this guy under the radar, although I saw a tweet that he looked very good in the first day of the Minnesota workouts so that might not be very effective, probably just the Blazers hoping people won't think they are interested, so a team won't try to leapfrog them.

George sounds like a Travis Outlaw clone.

Skinny leaper SF/PF with a huge wingspan and a perimeter oriented game. nbadraft.net compares him to Trevor Ariza/Danny Granger.

    His release is Durantesque:

Not really. Most of what I've heard about George seems to suggest he's as much of a shooting guard as he is a small forward (at least according to Chad Ford's draft blog earlier this week), and Jones is supposedly pretty long for a combo guard/shooting guard. I'm not getting too excited about either guy, but with Rudy's future in doubt, Martell unlikely to suddenly become consistent on offense, and Bayless a question mark (is he the long term answer, will he be the starter when Miller moves on, is he a two or a one in the long run?) it's not too surprising that they would look at some wings.

Off-hand I'd say it looks like George has at least the hint of being able to dribble with his left hand in traffic ... that negates the Catfish comparisons as far as I'm concerned.

Am I one of the few who doesn't care about this draft? I know you have to keep infusing new young talent, but none of these cats will play for us right. I guess I said the same about Dante and JP! Just bring back my same healthy top 12 from last season and I'm happy!

His shooting mechanics are disgusting, but he has great touch.

I could see POR being interested in both of those players. Jones seems to be to be that instant ofense type player off the bench, George more of an upside\potential pick.

I think Xavier Henry is another player POR should be considering as well.

The kid from Fresno State looks like Rashard Lewis with that release. I like his versatility.

George did remind me of Rashard Lewis in his release. But he looked more athletic to me, and also looked to be a superior finisher to Travis Outlaw. Outlaw never met a shot that he couldn't turn into a jab step turn around fade away jumper.

Chad Ford's Mock Draft 3.0 has us taking Patrick Patterson at #22 over Hassan Whiteside at #24.

He also has Favors going #2.

Yep I have seen multiple rumors now saying the 76'ers are looking at Favors at the #2 spot.
