I get called a racist all the time on this board. What no one knows is that I have a beautiful boy that we foster parent that we are in the process of adopting that happens to be black. Apparently his father who is in prison for raping a 12 year old, and his mother who is a crack whore were oppressed by us all. And that one of my best friends who was the best man at my wedding is black. I've said this in another thread, and it really holds true here. Everyone on the planet is racist at some level. Some, like me, cross the street when they see a couple of black kids on the same street at night. Statistics tell me I should. Statistics also tell me to be wary of middle aged white men driving around neighborhoods in beat up vans.
Agreed 95%. I'd prefer a shotgun over a handgun for home defense. I didn't offer that solution up to Westnob though because I know his feelings toward firearms.
