    Zach's been traded a lot the last four years. Who can blame the guy for wanting multiple storage units? I credit the puritanical Portland fans for getting Zach to make some practical decisions for how he plans for his future.

    I've never said we need Zach, nor that we never should have traded him. The deal we made was a bad one, and we'd be better off if we had not made the deal and then, as a Blazer, Zach were arrested this summer and then went to prison than we are right now.

    Cops are absolute morons, mostly cowards with huge ego issues, and of little use to anyone who pays their salary.

    Used to be they chased bad guys but apparently they lack the courage nowadays.

    I was always a defender of Zach, but even when I defended him I knew that there was always a chance some off court action would get him in trouble. Hopefully he wasn't involved, but I won't be to surprise if he is. I don't think weed is to big a deal, but you would think he'd be smarter than that.

    Why would you think he is smarter than that? This is the same dude that got busted with weed doing 100 down broadway in a Humvee, got accused of raping a stripper with his girlfreind in a downtown Portland Motel, stiffed a strip bar near the airport when he was supposed to be rehabbing, what is there in that history that says he has any brain whatsoever?

    I don't think players smoking pot is a big deal... I'd rather they didn't in the same sense that I'd rather they didn't drink booze, but really I barely care. However, someone driving while high is putting the general public at risk, that is a big deal. So when Tim Lincecum, Zach, Camby or whoever does this it shows a real lack of judgement/smarts. Being involved dealing on the scale that ZR is accused of would (if true) reflect a whole different level of numbnut. Dude's made 71M so far in his NBA career, it's hard to fathom why he'd take this sort of risk other then for some sort of criminal thrill. If he really is this stupid/bad, it makes more sense why he's been traded repeatedly for (apparently) so little. When he was traded from PDX, KP alluded to their being much more dirt on Zach that didn't hit the papers... I'd imagine that the league has been more informed on exactly whats what then we have

    What he hasn't figured out yet, is that his homies seem loyal. Loyal until they are busted and their choice is Prison or give him up. When they are looking at 15 years+, selling out Zbo won't be an issue.

    I disagree. I'd take Zach over Rudy/Francis/Frye any day of the week. It was the case then and it's still the case now.

    I believe that we could have signed Miller using a max MLE deal, so the cap space we got (a couple years later) for Zach didn't buy us anything, as far as I'm concerned.

    Having seen the Blazers suck at the backup power forward spot for the last couple of years, I find it amazing anyone would doubt that Zach would have helped this team on the floor.

    plus he's a huge expiring contract soon. Or could have possibly voided if he did get arrested.
