Actually, the Governor of the state is the General of the State's Militia, and of the National Guard units assigned to that state. Based on the 2007 bill where the President can use the state's troops with or without the governor's consent, it's a bit different now...but I have a big problem with some idiot effing reporter comparing use of surveillance drones to patrol a border to nuclear weapons. I can play this game, too.

"Since the security force at CNN utilizes weaponry (in the form of batons, zip-ties, tasers and even firearms--all of which have a military purpose) in the maintenance of their assigned duties, Rogue CNN CEO is leading an insurrection of private corporations against the people and government of the US. They should be shut down, instead of being allowed to spew their rhetoric across FEDERAL airwaves."
