What team would suit Rudy best?

Supposing that things can't be patched up between Rudy and the Blazers (well, Nate mostly), and also assuming that the Blazers would like to get something for him rather than simply release him from his contract, what NBA team would best suit him? (And what could they give us for him that we'd want?)

The temptation is to say the Suns, but they've got a good thing going there, and Barbosa is their 2G off the bench.
New York with D'Antoni is also appealing (and would no doubt appeal to Rudy), but they're going to be in such flux at the moment that they might not be interested.
Somebody said the Lakers, and they certainly do have a need for a backup 2G, and an offense where a lack of dribbling skills might not be a huge detriment, but that would be very painful to see.
    Any other ideas?

Who cares. If Rudy leaves then Rudy=Enemy.

Could you BE any more predictable?

And if Rudy leaves, then it should at least matter what we get for him.

Rudy for Bass in Orlando. Salaries don't match, though they aren't too far apart.

I don't know? Is there all of a sudden a big need around the league for 2 guards who can't dribble left, play matador defense, are too frail to go inside and do nothing but take step back 3 pointers?

If he'd won a championship at Maryland they'd call him a PG.

The Lakers already have one of those, except he actually plays a semblance of defense.

Trade or package Rudy for another a backup PG that can attack the basket. Nate isn't respossible for Rudy inability to attack the basket or play defense. Rudy has been a international player and has plenty of experience to have improved is more areas then being a 3 point specialist. NY, and Golden state both don't care about defense and will NEVER be realistic playoff contenders, so Rudy is a PERFECT fit. A few people thought Sergio would thrive after he left Nates system, but what happened to him? The same that will happen to Rudy when he is gone, and quits whining like a bitch about how good he is and not getting more playing time. He should have averaged 15-18 points a game against Phoenix, but couldn't pull it off. Goodbye and good riddance.

The Bucks, the Heat, and the Bobcats are all teams that need a play maker coming off the bench. I think they would all be good places for Rudy to land.

Maybe Nets because their owner wants to establish an international following or Raptors who seem to like internationals. In my dreams I hope he could be included in trade for Devin Harris or Bosch.

As Pritchard's selections lose public support, he will maintain it for himself by spreading the rumor that he isn't the only decision-maker in the draft room, he's just a tiny part of it. But Paul Allen is the one conned out of $3M each time and knows what really happened.

He's marketable, though. Teams will play a guy spot minutes if it helps sell tickets.

Is he that marketable? I guess maybe in a community with a huge Spanish population, but even then he's got to perform better or all the "wet panty" factor in the world won't mean diddly poo -- coaches want to win, I'd wager they couldn't care less about peddling a few extra I "heart" Rudy T-shirts, or selling an extra 500 tickets.
