im sorry i know you cant blame the refs for a loss but this was BS. The end of the first half Lebron steps back to take a three and steps out. It is clear, visable in real time and in every replay. yet there seems to be 3 people who cant see it. The end of the game Rip gets hacked on both sides, no foul. ben gets the rebound and is hit, no foul. The ball is thrown out by Eric Snow and somehow it is Cavs ball? Then there are the fouls that you are calling on Rip and the same thing happens when Lebron is defending but nothing. I know it looks like im trying to pin this on the refs but im not. The pistons played like sh*t and got the result that they deserved. But the NBA does not need to shove this 21 year old ass down our fricken throats every game. I am a witness to a league full of bullsh** that is more interested in an individual rather than a team who is a real team. And with that the pistons did play like sh*t. this is undeniable and they better shape it up because it is clear that the league is more interested in Lebron winning than they are. They also need to get over the refs and play well and no more of these 8 minute scoring droughts. So this whole game was BS from top to bottomand on a side note- Is Cleveland the biggest gathering of low life dicks in the midwest? They Cheer that Sheed is down on the ground and keep it up untill he is off the floor (it wasnt that nice cheer that an injured player usually recieves either). I dont know maybe the palace is just full of people who actually care more about peoples health over what someone said but that is just aweful and i really hope the whole city down there isnt like that.
I know how you feel, this coming from a Wizards fan. Man I really wanted you guys to sweep easily, so I can laugh at LeBron. But you guys are letting me down... Btw Cleveland is a city full of jerks, in game 2 of the 1st round at halftime when Eddie Jordan (wiz coach) was heading to the locker room, a fan dropped the N-bomb on him.
Totally agree. Lebron is ridiculously overhyped for one. All that crap that he's the KING. Damn right your a f****** overhyped whiner. He gets every call all the handchecks in the 2nd half by Rip and then the one on Antonio, what the hell is that . And then Rip can't get a call on the biggest play, you know Lebron would've got that. I'm just tired of it. Yea and Cleveland fans cheering f*** you we have more integrity in Detroit. Then at the end Lebron getting on the scorers table waving his shirt around like he just won a championship. I counted like 3-4 airballs and 6-7 turnovers for someone to act like that? I think it's going to be funny when Rasheed's up on Clevelands scoring table after game 6 and Lebron's crying because he was just eliminated. With all this said we kind of lost it ourselves, where's Chauncey, he's MR. BIG SHOT give it to him.
The other thing is that this would ahve been a pitson win gaurenteed if sheed was not injured. There is no doubt in my mind we would have won by 10 if he was not hurt. We had to adjust our whole offense and defense because he was not able to rotate or do anything as well.

We would've won if we had him he would not let us down.
Man.. its alright.. guys, we just gotta show Cleveland whos boss in Game 5 and 6. Besides we shouldnt even be that wooried about them

im really not worried guys. Im more pissed off that the pistons can't ever just finish a team off. the past few times it hasnt affected us at all but this time Sheed got hurt and we are now in a bit of a hole. The pistons are coming back to Auburn Hills and i think the crowd will be fired up and the loudest they ahve been since the finals last year. I know i will be giving it my all to try to will the pistons to victory but at the moment im still taking the pistons to win and in 6 but i just hope that it doesnt cost us any more players.
No noe here is worried, and all of us Piston fans are going to get the business around the site. We are going to be told that we are not undefeatable, which we all already know, and that we can lose this series because the almighty LeBron James will be us. That is not true and we know it. The kid with the underserving title of "King", who has only won one playoff series in his life, cannot play 48 minutes a game like he has been without breaking down at some point. I am not worried at all, the Pistons always did need a boot in their ass to wake up and dominate the way we know we can. Like I originally said, Pistons in 6.....GuarenSHEED.
I share the same feelngs as you guys. It just seems that the NBA is giving LeBron and the Cavs a lot of calls that they don't deserve to get, or are calling the game lopsidedly in favor of LeBron. It happened in the regular season, it happened in the Washington series, and it is happening again in this series. It needs to stop. He's not the King if he needs help from the league to win games.

Everyone knows that Lebron gets calls and that he gets away with 100x more whining than Rasheed does before he gets a tech. Im not even sure if Lebron has ever got one. The league needs to stop promoting a single player and just look and see that there are 3 teams out there who function like a team and not like individuals (pistons spurs and Mavs for all you dumbasses out there) and start promoting that concept again.
You guys are being such b*tches. Bad calls? Yeah they go both ways. It's human error, it happens. Lebron is alot better than any one player on your team and you're just jealous. Sure he gets calls, he's a better actor, it's easy to see when Lebron gets fouled and he gets fouled more than it's called anyway. What's wrong with his nickname being the King? He's by far the best player that has ever played the game at age 21. He is the King, but he hasn't been given the nickname the Greatest, has he?Rasheed needs to keep his mouth shut because if he can't back up his talk what's the point? It was a sad performance by Detroit and they should win this series but it pisses me off when an athlete guarantees the win when it's expected. Yes, you guarantee a win when you're the #1 seed in the league....good job. And then goes on to lose and suck in the process. You'd think the Pistons would try harder for him.Anyway, there's bad calls in every sporting event or missed calls in every sporting event in the history of sports..just get over it. If you can't overcome 1 or 2 fouls and missed calls then you are not a good team. Also the home team usually gets home calls it always happens everywhere you go so at the Palace you will get questionable calls your way..
Yes, there are bad calls in every game, and there are missed calls in every game, but if anybody has watched LeBron play throughout the season they would easily tell you that the officials favor him more than any other player in the league (except of course Cavs' fans, but who would blame them). For every two or three calls LeBron gets, there is one call that he gets away with (i.e. offensive foul, traveling, etc.)And why would the Pistons be jealous of LeBron? What has LeBron done? The Pistons have been to the finals the past two seasons, and were a few minutes away from a repeat last season. Meanwhile, LeBron is far from winning a championship.
Ok before I start, I agree that Bron has his share of calls, just like every other superstar player has before. It's ridiculous but you can't let that beat you. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>im sorry i know you cant blame the refs for a loss but this was BS. As far as I'm concerned Sheed talked sh*t before the game and declared a victory and when he goes down as the OPPONENT, they have the right to boo all they want. He had it coming, and it was not a life threatnening injury by any means. Are they suppossed to cheer him, come on.
I actually thought this was one of the better officiated games so far in the playoffs. It is a lot easier to make the correct call when you see the slow motion replay from five different angles. Did Lebron get the benifit of the doubt on a few calls? Sure, but so would the Pistons if they had been attacking the basket all game instead of settling for jump shots and fall aways.
Dont worry guys. There is nothing much Lebron can do with that team of his. As long as the refs arent totally corrupt, you can easily win by playing the way you did in Games 1 and 2.Keep your head up.

Do you ever cheer for someone to get hurt? if you do you clearly have no class. I know i would not cheer if anyone ever got injured at a basketball game. i probably wouldnt even cheer if Ron Artest was injured at the palace beacuse its not right. you dont do it plane and simple. And you can bring up the brawl all you want. we deserve it because what one guy did will always make detroit fans dirty and rotten people. im not saying that pistons fans are saints but i do think if you start cheering for people to get hurt then you are about as classless as it gets and right now cleveland might have the least class in the US as far as im concerned.
Yeah and want to hear a tough break the Cavs had? LARRY HUGHES WAS OUT YOU F'N IDIOTS! They played without a starter so you having Wallace injured and them having Hughes adv. Pistons. I don't care if Lebron gets good calls to go his way and on late calls like that one on Rip you can't let the refs win the game, he had to make the shot and not try to draw a foul. The Pistons just can't handle Lebron now shut up about it.
