I was over at my folks house the other day. While there, my Mom peered at me, then inquired, "That moustache is new. When did you decide to grow that?" I then looked at her incredulously and basically responded in shock, "Mom, I've had this moustache since I've been 16 and NEVER shaved it off!" Now, my Mom is a sharp cookie. Never shown any signs of physical/mental shortcomings. However! That said, I've heard of many people who have shaved off their beards/moustaches and nobody has noticed....not even their loved ones. Still, pretty weird.
Touche' Hey, you and HCP should meet me @ Bih Al's sometime this weekend. That would be pretty cool, I think. Just let me know.
What the heck is a moustache??? I've heard of a mustache, but not a moustache... Is that some kind of french facial hair or something?
Alzheimers or dementia? Im not sayin its that for sure, but those kind of comments are not a good sign. Do some reading and keep an eye on her for more signs.
I work with this guy, he's about 70. He has started losing it. It makes for great comedy, but I feel bad sometimes.
Your mom isn't losing it, you are. She told me you spent the entire visit lying on the carpet twitching and fondling your mustache and babbling about shaving. You need help, dude. Your mind and body can't handle what you are ingesting on a daily basis. barfo
