LINK Larry Browns agent says he expects him to return. You can't really believe anything at this point. Theres so many rumors about this sh*t. I say we just expect him to return, and if he doesn't he'll announce it personally to the public..

See this is the problem,1 bad season and they wanna buy out his contract. Can you imagine if he follows it up with another bad season?I think if Larry doesn't make them look any better he will be out by next year,so basically this sounds like a lose-lose deal for Larry.

Lose-lose for Larry Brown? I don't picture it that way. If he stays and they start improving, it's because of him. If he stays and they continue to lose, and he gets fired or bought out, he's still making his $$$, and there will be other teams out there that will give him a shot.Brown has nothing to lose... Anyway, reports are now saying that Brown being bought out and Isiah becoming the coach is inevitable... according to EC executives.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>NEW YORK -- Larry Brown's agent said Monday his client plans to return as coach of the Knicks next season unless he's asked to leave, almost an exact duplication of what he was saying a year ago when Brown was well on his way to leaving Detroit.</div>Seems a little familiar to me, hell it says it on the first paragraph of the link.I honestly will not be a Knick fan if they buyout Larry Brown.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (About James Dolan)</div><div class='quotemain'>As chairman of Madison Square Garden, James L. Dolan oversees the management of the many Garden entities, which include the Garden facilities, its professional teams - the Knicks, Rangers and Liberty - the MSG Network, and Radio City Music Hall. In addition to his role as chairman of Madison Square Garden, Mr. Dolan serves as president and chief executive officer of Cablevision Systems Corporation, the Garden's controlling owner.</div>James Dolan has no clue what he's doing. How can he honestly know what's best for 3 teams at once while also supervising many other events in MSG??We need to get a new chairman of MSG, hopefully like Joe Dumars lol.Honestly, what the hell happened to us? We've had some of the worst luck in sports history. First off we give Houston a huge contract and he is chronically injured and retires with his $100,000,000 dollar deal...GOD that is a huge number. Then we get Isiah "I Can Ruin Your Team If You Need Me To" Thomas....look what he did with the Raptors! Then we get Stephon "I Also Ruin Teams" and also we get Steve Franc(h)is(e) Destroyer...I mean in between that a few good moves, but Thomas has to go. There is no way in hell that we have him as coach.I just dont' see how the hell we can win by firing a HOF coach and putting in a terrible GM to be a coach who already has a bad track record. !!!Yes I know he made the playoffs...with the Pacers with Reggie, Ron, Tinsley, Jackson, O'Neal..that's sad first round exit team, no way.

Ya know what it's not Isiahs decision though. I think what Larry tried to do was get Isiah fired and Marbs traded and it didn't work..at least yet..god how can you fire a HOF coach in 1 year..it's unheard of.

if there is any guy that knows squat about basketball it's james dolan. he's an idiot. he ordered scott layden to trade sprewell who was the fan favorite at the time. if james dolan thinks that the bad record is larry brown's fault than he clearly doesn't know sh*t about basketball. brown's a winner, that's been proven and he wants to buy him out :thumbdn1: sorry just a stupid move. you don't give up on someone who has proven himself time and time again after just ONE bad season. brown better be on the knicks bench or james dolan needs to be shot because i'm sick of him.

Either way, he'll get his money from the Knicks, and there will be another team in the league who will hire him as long as he is willing to continue coaching and his health allows it.

If Brown just wants to get his money and run thats fine with him I guess.Again i'm not sure you understand me here,if he doesn't get fired this year he will probably next year.Yes another team will probably pick him up but from a Knicks point of view the only thing he is gaining is money.

If you think Larry Brown is fully responsible for the Knicks' terrible season, you have never watched a Knicks game. The Knicks players are 75% responsible for their bad season. Good coaching is overrated. Players should already have a good mentality of what to do when playing.

Good coaching is not overrated. Again... it takes time to turn a team around, especially when all the perimeter players on the Knicks' roster are exactly the same.
