They would do it because Jermaine wants out of Indiana. I think he has already requested a trade to the Blazers. He clearly doesnt want to play in Indiana anymore.
No way Indiana does this trade. Jermaine O'Neal HAS NOT requesed a trade to Portland, nor has he requested a trade, period. Anyway, even if the Indiana Pacers were open to the idea of trading Jermaine O'Neal, I'm sure they would be able to get more than Lamar Odom and Kwame Brown.Sorry guys, but keep dreaming...
Probabely a good trade for O'neal, I think one of them will step up now that they won't have Kobe to back them up but with O'neal going to the Lakers they have alot of promise this year So you guys suggest I keep on working at it then try out again later?
I hope the Lakers don't even think about that. Jermaine's good and all, but he's damaged goods who would also have to learn the triangle. Kwame and Lamar made huge strides in the stretch run, give'em at least until the trading deadline.

It wont it has never even been mentioned I was just wondering if if this trade could go down, since it was a successful scenario.
