yea i know i'm just saying that it isn't written in stone. you never know if their stocks will go up during the pre-draft workouts.

A guy I like is Taquan Dean, he could end up being the next Bruce Bown. He has amazing on ball defense, can usual lock down his oppenent. He also has a nasty jumper, with alot of range. One thing he has that Bruce lacks is the ability to handle the ball. So this guys will be big on defense, and should also make a pretty good impact on the offensive end as well.

They has a crazy 3 point shooting team with him and Larry O'Bannon a few years back. Taquan reminds me of a poor mans Chauncy Billups, because he's a big physical guy, who is a natural 2 guard, that'll probably end up being forced to run the point, and if he continues to work hard he could be as good as Chauncey at some point in his career.

Darius Washington, his stock has dropped the most out of anyone in this draft except for Daniel Gibson. Washington woulld be a steal for any team. Also, Shawne Williams may fall [I don't think so though] but if he starts hitting his jumpshots, he would have all star potential.

Undersized didnt stop Elton Brand or Ben Wallace, and Eric Hicks has as good or better work ethic and desire than both of them.</div>No way. Ben Wallace has to have a better work ethic than Hicks. Same with desire. How did Ben get to where he is now, after being a no name undrafted free agent for Washington? Spending countless hours working on defense, rebounding, freethrows (doesn't show though), boxing out, and the basics. And his desire, don't get me started. He could have/should have called it quits back then when he was riding the end of the bench at the start of his career. But his ambition kept him motivated, and pushed him more and more. Now look at the career of Big Ben: 4 defensive player of the year trophies, a couple of defensive first team honors, a ring, and another ring on the way. He is Motown's heart and soul. Don't tell me Hicks has as good of a work ethic or desire as Big Ben. I don't think anybody's work ethic or motivation are on the same level as Wallace's is.

If Pops Mensah-Bonsu gets drafted this year in the 2nd round, he'll be a steal imo. Yeah, he doesnt have the offensive skills you'd look for in a PF, but he's an ATHLETIC FREAK. He can jump out of the damn gym. He mainly gets his points off of put-backs/dunks, but he has some post moves, he can run the floor well in transition, and with the right assistant coach, he can become a better offensive player, he's already a good defensive player. His jumpshots just needs work, very raw talent. He's a hard-nosed guy and your typical banger in the paint. A lot of teams could use him.

Pops is overrated, he is an athletic freak, but he doesen't have forward skills, and that is what matters

Will Blalock. He is a good scorer, very quick, can play both guard positions, very good ballhandler, will leave it all on the floor, ballhawk when he wants to be, and good in transition.

I think Mccray out of maryland will be a great player, but im not sold on him even being a second round pick, but remember we were on our way to the tournament with a great seed before he was expelled.

McCray is just another local scrub that most likely wont be drafted...he'll prolly sign with a team in free agency.

my 2nd round steal for this draft would have to be........................o wait the draft hasn't happened yet and it won't for another month [IMG] seriously i said this so many times why are you people wasting time picking steals when the draft is a month away? no one can predict the draft. the lottery sometimes people can predict that but once you get past that it's kind of hard to judge. also they have to play an NBA game before you declare them as a steal. come on guys:no3: you are getting WAYYY too ahead of yourselves.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (yankshater213 @ May 16 2006, 03:51 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Craig Smith. He reminds me a lot of Ryan Gomes. I think he'll do well given the right situation. Taj Gray. Hes real athletic, especially for the PF position. In the NBA thoguh I think he'll end up being a tall wing player, and he'll do well for himself. Quincy Douby. Hes a borderline first rounder. His workouts will determine late first or early 2nd round. I think he'll go early 2nd round because he cant do much more than shoot. But he's got a bonafide jumper with lights out range. Allan Ray. He's another guy like Douby, but I think he'll fall even farther because in the NBA he'll be an overmatched, and oversized deuce. Hes a good slasher though and knows how to use screens, so I think he'll be pretty decent. Dee Brown. While hes not a great shooter, he can run the point. Guys got blazing speed and plays with 150% effort. He can be an effective back up PG somewhere.</div>WOW, thats exactly what i was going to say. like the exact same thing. except i dont think smith will be as good as ryan. i dont think hes capable of 5 games of +10 rebounds on 35mpg without having played more then six minutes in a game before, but maybe thats just me. (intense sarcasm)
