Hitters were presumably not on steroids or PEDs from 1890 through, at least, the 1970s. (Other than amphetamines which are likely still in the game.) I think it's just an insane statistical fluke.
I guess you are right, but know what I mean about the sentimental part about it too? He wont get that jumping around with his teammates, being mobbed by them. That feeling of getting that last out.. etc.

"Greenies" are the amphetamines I mentioned, but I think they're still in the game. The new testing is for steroids and growth hormones, as far as I know.

I don't think you can pee test for HGH. Only a blood test will show that and no major sports league does blood tests.
If they don't reverse that call, I can't imagine they'll ever reverse any call. The outcome of the game wouldn't change and it was such a clear mistake. I can't imagine an easier circumstance to reverse than that.

Santana Moss got caught being given HGH. There's that type of investigation that is conducted at least. Is HGH hard to get? I'm not sure. I would think it could leave a paper trail a decent amount of time (from a doctor in Santana's case, etc.). Same thing happened to Rodney Harrison.
