    I always thought Avery was a pretty solid coach. He took Dallas to their first NBA Finals, even though they missed a perfect opportunity to win. He's probably the best candidate available now.

    Maybe Jeff Van Gundy is still avalible :D ? I like this guy as a commentator - knows the game inside out and can be sarcastic. Although I don't know about his coaching.
