I think my head just exploded. Lets trade our best point gaurd, a SG/SF with better offensive/defensive abilites then hedo, and the vanilla gorrilla for two vasilty overrated players that cant really defend.

Martel is a great defender and hustle player. He had several months this year were he blew up and was averaging nice numbers. He is inconsistent yea, but he makes up for his inconstant offence by being everywhere on the defensive end.

Hedo was the secound best defender on that team? I'd put Hedo 4th. Dwight Howard, Courtney Lee, Peitrus, all better defenders then Hedo.

Oh my bad i'm tired and missread your post. I should probably clarify my way of thinking.
Hedo is better then martell overall, but on the defensive end Martell is better and is still young enough to have not reached his ceiling. I was pretty much only trying to say Martel is a better defender then Hedo and isn't as bad offensively as people tend to think. Hedo is also up their in BBall years and his play is already starting to decline.

When will people finally just say no to foreigners. Wanting to trade away the single reason why our team won 50+ games last year???

Oh my god, I just tried to visualize our "defense" with Hedo and Calderon in the lineup ...

Do you want to sink our defense into oblivion?

I would be against this trade. Hedo's not a bad player, but not a good one... and his contract is ridiculous.

If salaries were equal I would pull the trigger, but it's not worth taking on those massive contracts. I'm all for SPAM if we're getting all-star level talent in return, but not for borderline starters.

    Um, this should work.

Pryz for Lebron in a sign and trade. Cleveland needs to cut their losses and Joel is in the last year of his deal so they would be shedding lebrons salary and his, then they can save up for the 2011 free agent class that is so unstacked!

I'd think the Cav's would jump all over that one. James is so over rated.

Cavs get immediate cap relief if LeBron walks. Why do they want an expiring contract instead, so they'd have to wait another year for the cap space's effect?

Ohh your right we should throw in this years draft pick and the rights to Joel Freeland to get them to bite.
