Jason Quick: Rudy on his way out?

Bayless + Rudy the 22nd and the 44th pick for Sessions and the 16th, then draft Avery Bradley or maybe Paul George (if he's still available) and call it good.

In the meantime, Martell gets more minutes to backup both Roy and Nic, and George (or Bradley) can cool his heels on the bench.

 

I would like to see about adding Flynn. He intrigues me.

People still think Sessions is good? After nobody wanted him last year in a weak free agent class? He still couldn't get decent minutes on a horrible Minnesota team. The guy just isn't that good!

Milwaukee sent a lot of signals that they would match any contract offered to Sessions and Minny took a chance and made a run at him that a cap constrained Bucks team couldn't match. That said I think he had a down year because he was a terrible match for the triangle, Minny wanted to get a long look at Flynn and if you look at Sessions at 82games.com you discover that he was one of the few bright spots on that roster and without much talent to throw the ball too, I suspect his point guard numbers took a bit of hit. Kurt Rambis' inability to get Sessions (and Love) good minutes says more about his ineptitude to me than any knock on the guy. FWIW, I think he's no all-star, but he's a pure point, with good length and nice mid range floater to compliment his pass first instincts; a solid (if unspectacular) replacement for Miller when the time comes.

 

Sessions sucked last year because of the triangle offense!!! Don't you pay attention to this board???

It's obvious that the only thing holding back the Blazers is not having the starting line-up and the bench of the Minnesota Timberwolves! Or, moving two bench players from a 15-win team into our starting line-up!

I'd like that trade IF we had a trade in place to send Bayless somewhere for a decent bench 2 or 3 that can score/shoot and defend well. (don't even try to tell me bayless is a good defender because he's aggressive and athletic, he's also idiotic at team defense)

Well that all depends. Is Rudy actually going to work on his game this year? Is Rudy actually going to hit the gymn and get his body into NBA shape? If Rudy would show me some effort, I would be all for supporting him. But he doesn't.

I'm with HCP on this one, Once we establish the post were going to need Rudy, whatever he can provide will be more than any rookie > 10th pick.

 

You know I am pretty sure most rookies wouldn't go 0-12 in a pllayoff game when most of them are wide open shots before finally hitting one. You can talk shit all you want. But when Rudy hits the court, your words fall on def ears.
