I think their are three guys in this draft that could one day be elite players at their position. 1. Tyrus Thomas - He has so much skill/talent that it's ridiculous. He has the talent and athletic ability to play SF if he developes his perimeter skills. He's the opposite of Shawn Marion, Marion came into the league as a SF and worked his way in so he could play in the post, Thomas could eventually work his way to SF, but don't get me wrong his NBA position is PF. He's 6'9" 220 right now and can definatly add weight, he has very long arms and is VERY quick at PF. Was only a freshman this year so the skys the limit for him. Has amazing shot blocking skills. People are unsure of him because he's come out of nowhere. Good games Against Tennessee 17pts/9rebs/9blks Against Texas in their win in the tourney 21pts/13rebs/3blks. Averaged 12ppg/9rpg/3bpg 2. Rudy Gay - People are sleeping on him so bad it's alarming me. People are forgetting that when he's drafted he will only be 19 years old, (as old as JR Smith was on his draftday). He was on an elite team and never really had to turn into Kobe Bryant and dominate because the Huskies were always up by 15pts. If he played on a poorer team like Gonzaga he would have put up player of the year numbers. Led his DEEP team with 15ppg, played with guys like Marcus Williams, Rashad Anderson, Denham Brown, Josh Boone and Hilton Armstrong. Was only a Sophomore last year and put up numbers similar to Grant Hill his sophomore season. Has a good jumper that athletic leapers don't tend to have along with very good slashing ability. When he's around the rim he has great body control and seems to float and make moves in the air ala Dwyane Wade. Good but not a GREAT rebounder, with Hilton Armstrong and Josh Boone he didn't get great rebounding numbers. Has very good speed for his 6'9" 225 pound frame. If he stayed at UConn and kept improving based on his freshamn to sophomore jump his senior year he would average 21/8 a game. He averaged as many points as LaMarcus Aldridge this season. Awesome upside. 3. Andrea Bargnani - People are going to label him the next Euro bust like Darko or Tskitishvili but the reason players like I listed do poorly in the NBA is because they don't play in Europe, they sit on veteran teams at 18 years old and watch so scouts can't get a good chance to scout them. But Bargnani plays and is one of the top players in Europe. He's 6'11" 240 and can put on more weight, has a very nice shot. He's very much like Dirk Nowitzki when you watch him, has an AMAZING first step for a big guy and finishs with power when driving inside. It will be interesting to see what happens when he works out for teams because he vould challenge for the top pick.

I don't know about superstar, but Rodney Carney and LaMarcus Aldridge could very well e the best players from this draft.

I would like to think LaMarcus would be a great player but he didn't dominate like he should have (considering he was the only 'great' bigman in the country other than Roy Hibbert). But he was only a sophomore so i'll give him a break.

I think this draft will be pretty weak. the last three drafts have been pretty good, and usually when you have 3 good drafts the next one is horrible. look at the 83,84, and 85 drafts, you had all those superstars than 86 comes along and its horrible. then the 96,97,98,99 drafts which yeilded todays superstars is followed by the horrific drafts of 00,01,and 02.

I think this years draft might be better than last year's.

Rudy Gay has the tools to become a superstar in this league. Andrea Bargnani has really impressed me, and he'll turn heads when pre-draft workouts come along. NBA Comparisons:Rudy Gay: At the least he will be a Gerald Wallace type player. 15 ppg, 5-7 rebounds a game, 2+ blocks, 2+ steals. At best he will be a Scottie Pippen type player. Fierce defense, pretty good offense. He will be a highflyer no matter what. I can't wait to see where he'll be in a decade.

I expect Gay to have a much quicker rise to stardom than Gerald Wallace, Gerald came out of Alabama raw as fresh roadkill. Rudy played elite level teams and has gone to the tournament.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Adam Morrison a superstar? Eh... :no3:</div> The Power of the Stache compels you BCB, join the darkside. [IMG] This draft is hard to gauge on for superstar potential. I think the obvious choice is Rudy Gay because of his high ceiling and skills. If he can hone on them, there's no limit to what he can achieve. Everyone else seem to be good pickups though but superstar potential are a stretch for most.

Like BCB the three names for me that come to mind are Rudy gay, Tyrus Thomas, and Andrea Bargani. I think there are other players in this draft, but none w/ superstar potential.

I think Rudy, LaMarcus, and Tyrus have the potential to be superstars. This draft may not have the LeBron-type player in it, but it has a lot of depth

Rudy Gay is so athletic that I think some team will find a way to use him to their advantage. I see him being a Shawn Marion type player.

None of them, the only I can see is Tyrus Thomas and it will take a hell of a lot of coaching.Rudy Gay is IMO going to be like a Desmond Mason type of player, maybe a Gerald Wallace (which is good but not star player)Andrea Bargnani is going to have a worse shot and be slower and weaker than Nowitzki, but he can be good.Tyrus Thomas is an extremely raw talent, with a ton of athletic ability, a huge wingspan, leaping ability and has great speed for a 6'9 player. He is too slow to dominate LeBron and too weak to dominate like Garnett..but he will be a tweener and he is so athletic he will find a way to put it to use.

His offensive ability is light years ahead of those players coming out of college. :no3:

His offensive ability in my opinion is already better than Desmond Mason. He was a one year wonder with the Bucks.
