A little off topic, but read several articles from Yahoo to other random sites and newsletters, that LeBron and Bosh are seriously considering taking a paycut to join Wade in Miami, and that Pat Riley is the one trying to convince them.
I don't think that the 3 of them are selfish players, so I don't think that'll be the issue, but anyhow... the thought alone is frightening....
lol There's no way Lebron's going to play with Bosh/Wade. He will never be able to cement his legacy that way.
LeBron hater writing an article about the Bulls. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_ylt=ApgxZvllx8RZ5NaxPZfIfnC8vLYF?slug=aw-lebroninfluence060510 Chicago is a more likely destination.
Miami needs to unload Beasley first and so far no one wants him. The Nets even turned him down for Keyon Dooling. I think it will be great for the league if they do in fact all play together. It will force other teams to load up their rosters with more talent which produces a better brand of basketball.
It would be good for the franchise, not them. Their styles wouldn't blend. 2 superstars on a team and role players is a better idea.
So I'm just putting this out there, but Strasburg is going to be the best pitcher in baseball within the next couple of years. I've been watching baseball for a long time now, and I've never seen a pitcher that dominant and that calm in his first MLB start. I can't wait to see what this kid has in his next outing, and the Nats FINALLY have something to cheer about.
Whoa, don't get ahead of yourself Moo. It was against the Pirates. I like the kid a lot and I do think he'll be phenomenal, however, pitchers are usually good their first year or two and once hitters start making adjustments, then they really prove themselves. I think he'll be the best in the league one day, but he needs to stay healthy first.
I don't really think I'm getting too far ahead of myself. He's got absolutely filthy stuff. He clocked 101 on his fastball tonight, he's got a very good changeup and an incredible curveball. I realize hitters make adjustments, but he's also just going to get better as well. I won't say he's going to be the best pitcher in baseball next year or even in 2 years, but I do think he'll take that title within a few years. It may have just been the Pirates, but they're still big league players that he made look completely foolish.
