Not bad list, but I have a little problem with the Mavs and Spurs only getting 1 guy on all the 3 list.Detroit got 2, which they deserved...but I think Tony Parker should have been on there, he was more of a reason for the Spurs success than TD was during the regular season. Not sure who else the Mavs could have on there, but Terry and/or HOward should have gotten some consideration.
Great to see Dirk finally in the first team, really means alot to Mavs fans. He's finally getting his glory. But other than that, the list is pretty good. Kinda looks the same just like every year. I would have voted for Big Z or Brad Miller over Yao, he shouldnt be on thereMarvin, Terry or Howard would have been on the fourth team...if there was one
bullsh**! Yao deserves the All-NBA Second Team place more than Ben Wallace. Ben Wallace anchors the Pistons, but his impact on his team wasn't as much as Yao's this year, because Yao carried his team this year. He carried them to nowhere, but it's better than being at the same spot they were at the beginning of the year. Without T-Mac for a lot of the season, the Rockets sucked so when Yao came back from his injury, he helped them. Anyways I don't get how someone who averages 33 points per game and 7 assists is on the third team. AI deserved the second team spot, hands down. Instead of Chauncy Billups.

Nobody else besides Tim Duncan and Dirk Nowitzki from the Mavericks and Spurs deserved to be on that list. It's a list for superstars, not good roleplayers on elite teams. You could make a mention for Tony Parker but he just didn't put up the numbers.
Well then why the hell are Big Ben AND Chauncy both on there?Big Ben was defensive player of the year...at least that's who they said it was, even if he shouldn't have been, and Chauncy, while a great PG...isn't a "Superstart" as you put it...Detroit is a team beased on role players, and team play...so why are thy on there?
wtf, Carmelo beating out Bosh? Man people are overrating Carmelo so much because of his clutch shots. Not even fair.
He got his team the division title. Bosh got his team no where. Not to mention Melo averaged 26 ppg. Anthony should've been an allstar this year, I thought it was unfair to leave him, and Michael Redd out in this year's all star game.
i'm pretty happy with the 1st and 2nd team, you could argue about certain selections here and there, but overal i think it's about right. 3rd team i'm not so sure. I think Bosh deserves to be in there too for instance. It's not just about how well the team did. I mean where the hell was anyone sposed to lead the raps this season? they're just getting their act together after all fell apart. Bosh was a solid and consistent presence out there all season.

^I see your point, and don't disagree, but with that logic, than teams good teams with great records would have more players on these lists.
Yeah, but the Raptors had a MEDIOCRE record. All First Team NBA players (Kobe, Nash, Shaq, LeBron, and Dirk nowitzki) made the playoffs, and all were above the 8th seed.
It's suprising kobe came 2nd in the votes but only 4th in the mvp voting. They used to give the mvp to the best player.

What a f*cking jokes this is.</div>Where the F*ck do you think Pierce would stand? For the first team, Nash and Kobe both had better years. For the second team, Billups and Wade had better years. And for the third team, Arenas and Iverson had much better years. Also, besides Iverson who would just be in it anyways because of his 33 point per game average, all the others made the playoffs at Pierce's position. Once you've accumulated all this in your thick skull, and you still don't agree, why don't you become an NBA analyst and make the choices?
Overall I agree w/ the list. I wish AI couldve made the second team, but i knew he would make thrid team since philly didnt make the playoffs. BTW Marvin are you kidding??? You dont think big ben or chauncey shouldve been on the list??? Big ben is the best defensive player in the league and Chauncey is an underated star. Chauncey can do almost everything and hes a true leader. He was even my pick for MVP. i dont see why he didnyt deserve to be there.
Question why is Shaq on the first team? Carmelo on third and the "mvp" getting the least amount of votes on the first team, Yao on third?
I like the list, and LOVE the fact that Ben Wallace was two 1st place votes away from taking Shaq off the 1st team.
