So if the majority is false, that means part is true. I believe most of what we hear is false, but most likely KP's job being in jeopardy is true. Just the why is the question.

Man, my 7 year old son could jack those softballs over the fence all day long. It's a little embarrassing for Mike.

he's saying a majority of all the off season speculations around the league are false and only some are true... which is why he doesn't even read them. Certainly that seems to be true in my years of following offseason gossip. The way I'm reading his addressing this particular speculated on situation is that Kevin's regular evaluation isn't done yet and never is prior to the draft. So while it's true that his job may be in jeopardy, thats always true about this time of year.

That looks like a confirmation to me.

I would consider it more of a press conference

Nobody (interested in keeping their job) would. That said, it's sort of a fruitless endeavor to read the interview because you already know it's roughly the equivalent to state media interviewing the "glorious leader." I don't fault Barrett at all for the questions he's asking, I fault the organization for trotting him out there to conduct the interview in the first place.

Did anybody ever consider the fact that maybe with the way the organization is structured, that maybe Larry Miller really doesn't know much? If Vulcan is pulling the strings, it is coming from up above him.
