Why is Drew Gooden so underrated? He is a pretty good player. A lot of Cavs fans on the net don't really want him on the team anymore either. He is a very good rebounder, uses his body, he is very tough, and when he's on he can score for you as well. OK so he doesn't score 14-15 ppg anymore, but now he has LeBron puttin up 30, Hughes is a capable 20 point scorer, Big Z is an All-Star caliber center, plus Marshall and even Flip Murray taking some more of the scoring load off others.I mean maybe he doesn't score 10+ every night, but he does shoot over 50% and give his all and rebound the ball. What is it that makes me beleive he should recieve more credit? And why do a lot of Cleveland fans not really want him there anymore? I will also add that without his 8-10 rpg they would not be 2-2 with Detroit (and winning game 5 with 7 minutes to go.. without Hughes).
His role isnt to score now that lebron came into the picture, he fits the team very nicely and if he had to step up he very well could.I like this guy.
My new favorite player right here,hit the game winner versus the Pistons today.Back to topic,the team is built around LeBron everyone else is just a role player.Big Z is not an all-star player,he has huge size for nothing he needs to be more agressive if he wants to get any recognition.Gooden is also a good source of energy along with Anderson.

Shaq,Dwight and Yao are better centers then Zydrunas.With Z's huge body he can be an all-star player easily if he decides to man up.For now I think he accepts his role and just continues playing the way he has because it's obviously working for the Cavaliers.

Because his inside game is not polished. He doesnt have very many inside moves, although he can still back up his oppenent and score in the paint. He is a pretty good rebounder and likes to dunk off of rebounds. The thing is though, he sometimes makes stupid decisions and he is a pretty terrible passer. I agreee though. Some people treat the guy like chopped liver.
