PORTLAND, Ore. -- A man was arrested in connection with a hit-and-run that injured a cyclist, police said. Portland Police Bureau spokeswoman Mary Wheat said officers were called to the crash at Southeast 110th Avenue and Division Street at about 7 a.m. Friday. The cyclist suffered a non-life-threatening head wound and was taken to a hospital. Officers said the suspected car, a gold Chrysler PT Cruiser, was found abandoned. Police identified the suspect and contacted him at his home. Sean Meagher, 33, was arrested on several charges, including assault and felony hit-and-run, Wheat said. He was taken to the Multnomah County Jail. It's got to be the same guy. That really sucks. His life just got a lot harder. Sean is a really nice guy, traded emails with him many times.
NOT THE SAME SEAN MEAGHER! http://www.oregonlive.com/portland/index.ssf/2010/06/man_arrested_in_se_portland_hi.html
The same can be said for the Oregonian. Yeah, he knew word would be coming in 18 minutes. Should have waited it out. (No idea where that number 18 came from.) Any word yet on whether the guy on the bike was Canzano? I'm still hoping.
