What is the correct way to say these names?Kirk Hinrich - Is it:1. Hine-rickor2. Hine-rich* I have heard bothAnderson Varejao - 3 different things I have heard:1. Ver-ay-oh2. Var-eh-jon3. Vedda-jao* What the hell is it? lolRonny Turiaf - I know it's pronounced Tur-e-af, but announcers mess up his first name:1. Ro-ni (like rice-a-roni or pepperoni)2. Ron-e* I think it's exactly like it's spelled, like Ron with an e sound at the end. But announcers in the playoffs all said Ro-ni.
Reggie Miller says Vedda-jao, I really have no idea.As for Ronny, I believe it is Ron-E.As for Hinrich, I have caught myself saying it both ways. No Idea on that one as well

Plus thats the way they say it on video games, and they have to be right. With Anderson, i've heard it all 3 ways, but on the one of Cleveland's newspaper's i found this a thing that shows you how http://www.cleveland.com/cavs/ Its near the middle of the page on the left side. And with Turiaf, its Ro-ni. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (kingjamez @ May 18 2006, 09:34 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>What about DeSagana Diop? In 2k6, they say Varajao's name as 2 different things - Var-a-ho (Kenny Smith... lol) and var-ray-jonI trust vidoe game's pronunciations, but sometimes they just mess up. They arent entirely trustworthy, but are worthy of a little trust, if you even egt what i mean
