The road continues to be a long one for the Connecticut Sun.

Despite rallying from a 20-point deficit to tie the Indiana Fever on Sunday, the Sun failed to notch their first win away from home this season in a 77-67 loss at Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

Renee Montgomery scored 17 points and Kara Lawson, playing 28 minutes a game after dislocating her left shoulder, notched 10 for the Sun (6-3).

But after Montgomery hit one of her four 3-pointers to tie it at 60-all with seven minutes to play to complete a 26-6 run, the Fever came alive behind Tamika Catchings, who scored 12 of her 18 points in the fourth quarter to avenge Friday’s 86-77 loss at Connecticut.
