Mybe KP's trouble is that his underwear did match his tie ... remember he was fond of pink.

And to let him conduct the draft is awkward. I mean what if KP gets an opportunity to make a trade? He runs everything by Paul Allen before he makes a move (especially if he has to include cash in the deal). How would that even be possible if the 2 sides are not talking. This thing is just bizarre all the way around.

Yeah the lack of communication during all of this screams organizational disconnect. Also the culture within the Blazer Organization (not the team, the business side) has to be taking a massive hit since the trust level with the Vulcan group is close to zero. Who is to say that they don't this to someone else that from all appearances is doing a good job.

The thing that amazes me over this whole situation is the lack of professional communication from Allen/Vulcan. In business, things start breaking down when the communication starts breaking down. If there are differences, and differences that can be bridged, the only way to work it out is by communicating and airing out those differences and working through them. Everything I see going on from the outside here indicates that exactly the opposite has occured.

    1. You don't have to like everybody you work with.
    2. You should care more about them doing the job well and right, especially in KP's situation, because his success = dollars in your pocket.
    3. If you don't communicate the problem to your employee, there is no way for them to work with you to address it.
