Any cop who is trying to bust someone for fucking JAYWALKNG has an axe to grind, what a pathetic person.
Who cares why the cop was talking to her? She assaulted him, therefore he had to right to punch her (or use other "extreme" methods to get her under control). You don't lay your hands on a cop. You have to be a real dumb ass to pull that. Woman or not. She got what she deserved.
FWIW, I almost got a ticket/busted for jaywalking in Seattle as well. I had to literally talk my way out of it. "I'm from out of town! I didn't know!" - lol The cop wasn't messing around about it. They must take jaywalking seriously up there.
Yeah, everyone knows that laws are subject to interpretation, and only the really really bad ones get enforced.
Both those chick deserved what they got. The cop is one of the biggest pussies ever though....he seriously could not control a freaking 19 year old girl
BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! Funny line. But I'm not repping you as it made me suck up my nose a coke I was sipping on. Ouch.
Good point. Once he raises a couple of teenagers, he'll understand- go straight for the tazer and jump start them.
BTW, I got ticketed once for jaywalking in downtown Portland. I couldn't believe it and made a few objections to the cop. I mean, literally, thousands of people jay walk in downtown Portland every day- not to mention the thousands of bicyclists running red lights... and I'm the one who gets busted. I went to traffic court and the judge seemed a bit surprised as well and tossed it.
I think he was having difficulty because he was trying not to injure her. I think the cop was physically capable of making a face-shaped dent in the hood of his patrol car, and made a conscious choice not to do so.
When I used to work with incarcerrated veterans, they all felt the same way. That of the thousands of people commiting the same crimes, they had to be the ones who got caught.
Uh, that totally sucks. In my lifetime I've probably jaywalked a thousand times and never had a problem. The streets are so much more narrow here than in Seattle so it makes it easier. I'll have to keep my eye out for cops now.
