Miami-Dade County To Become Miami-Wade County for a week

    Miami-Dade County commissioners declared by unanimous vote on Tuesday that the area would be known as "Miami-Wade County" during the first week of July.

    The change will last from July 1-7, a time frame that coincides with the start of free agency in the NBA.

    Heat star Dwyane Wade will become a free agent on July 1, meaning he could leave Miami for another NBA city.
