Dunno why we are being linked to wingers and attacking midfielders so often.

I guess there is no specific order in which Wenger needs to fill out the roster.

    We don't have any wingers.

Well I suppose this season we have undersized Arshavin and possibly Bentner playing along the wing. We've put Nasri forward at times as well.

I know what you mean but I guess it depends on what formation Wenger wants to run this year. I don't think he'll strand RVP by his lonesome up front but I doubt we stick with the 4-3-3.

I mean, we have played those guys in the winger role but they aren't really wingers. They all want Fabregas' role...

Ideally we run a 4-1-3-2 with Song babysitting the back line, Cesc in the advanced central midfield position, and RVP/Chamakh or Benny up front. Guess that leaves Nasri and Ramsey/Arshavin/Diaby in the midfield. Dunno where a winger might fit in. Theo seems destined to be a career substitute.

Theo seems destined to be one of those English pundits on Match of the Day that 'could of been'. Taking nothing away from Lineker, Shearer and Dixon though!

    Striker-Chamahk
    Support Striker- RVP
    Attacking Mid- Nasri
    RM-Cesc
    LM- Diaby
    DM- Song
    RB- Sagna
    CB- Tommy V
    CB- Cahill/Koscielny...maybe?
    LB- Clichy
    GK- Who the fuck knows...

Bench- AA, Theo, BentWeiner, Vela, Eboue, Gibbs, Denilson, Ramsey (in 2011)

    On loan- Wilshere

    Gone- Eduardo, Rosicky

I'm actually ok with that, given what i've seen with him off the bench vs Barca. I liken him to a change of pace back in american football, not a every down type of player.

Nasri and Arshavin really aren't wingers though. They are creative players that have been put in that position.

Yeah, but due to our formation there's no place for a centre attacking mid, so he plays them on the wing.

True, it could be nice to see a pure winger. I would rather see that after Wenger brings in a couple of players we need though.
