With Kendrick Perkins out with a torn MCL and PCL, the Celtics will turn to either Glen Davis or Rasheed Wallace to start in his absence. Davis started in place of Kevin Garnett in Game 2 of the Celtics' first-round series against the Heat and scored 23 points -- so he has a history of performing well in a starter's role this postseason. But it looks like Sheed is going to grab the start. Writes Chris Forsberg of ESPN Boston: "The absence of Perkins will force Rivers to shorten his bench that much more as Wallace is expected to draw the start in Game 7." On Wednesday, Ric Bucher of ESPN The Magazine tweeted: "Always subject to strategic change, but as of right now, source says expect to see Wallace start for injured Perkins in Game 7. To be perfectly accurate, it would be Garnett moving to center, defensively, and Sheed taking KG's power forward spot." Wallace has done a solid job being physical with Pau Gasol down on the block, and Davis doesn't have enough size to make as much of an impact. Source: ESPN Boston
If Sheed starts then Bynum needs to be responsible for taking care of defensive rebounds. Sheed is going to spend most of his time on the perimeter to draw Gasol out of the post. Lakers need to gang rebound like they did in Game 6.
Every time you say that, he has a good game. Thanks for the good luck! Still mad Gasol is still a pussy?
Phil said he wasn't moving well, and Bynum said he couldn't get boards. And he took himself out. What more needs to be said?
Doesn't change the fact Pau's still pussy against Boston. Ya know, just bringin up a random argument. I learned from you.
There's no randomness to it, I just bring up hypocritical statements. There is no hypocrisy in saying Bynum is done, because Pau clearly is not done. Kwame Brown was a real tough guy.
