Indeed, the Lakers fanbase is pathetic.

    I am glad we agree.

I am probably watching at my buddy's place...he kind of lives near Crenshaw....might have to roll down that strip on the way home....about 10-15 minutes from staples. I have a stun gun and a golf club ready to take out laker fans!

If you have the chance to watch this and you don't you are a jerk! I am working and will not be able to watch it, and as a hoop junkie, this is killing me!

Courtside seats 65K each at Barrystickets.com. If I was still on Bones, I would totally go.

Will Kobe really win Finals MVP even if the Celtics win tonight?

Wouldn't he be too embarrassed to accept it? I can't imagine him holding it above his head after a loss. I think that if the Cs win tonight, the best Celtic of the night should win it. What do you think?

Also- is there any chance that any other Laker win it tonight? Maybe if Fish or Pau have a huge game?

I don't understand that, how would he win, I thought it came from the team that wins it all? So wouldn't it be Pierce? (or Rondo)

It's not a written rule although it should be. Jerry West won it when his Laker team lost to the Celtics. I don't want to see it come to that Kobe needs to win MVP and hoist up that trophy!

Logo once won it in a losing effort.

In 1969, the Celtics won Game 7 in L.A. but Jerry West, who had a monster series, won Finals MVP.

Thanks guys, I didn't know that it had happened before. :)

In that case Kobe should win it, he's been the best players in this series. (Pierce comes in second, then I'd say Gasol/Rondo)

I think deep down Kobe would rather win MVP and lose the title than win the title and not get MVP.
