In his defense, the team put together a pretty poor bench but it didn't help that he shot the confidence of every player on the bench

 

If Kenyon Martin becomes availible via free agency then that changes the scope of everything. Then the Nets have to give him the MLE because Lorenzen Wright is nice and all but Martin is better. It all depends on his knees tho.

 

Do you think K-Mart will be relased though?

 

I doubt it, somebody is going to take a chance of him (cough cough Isiah) and trade some players to the Nuggets for himNot a smart move, especially after his tirade and his relative lack of production

 

The only way I think we can get him is if he is bought out, in which case I think we would be the front runners in his mind..But thats rather unlikely..

 

Well what we have to give that other teams dont is the 2 first round picks (knicks have none)

 

Yeah, but we cant afford to take the hit of adding his contract to our payroll..

 

We are already over the cap so whats the harm?
