BTW, this is Jay Williams from Duke/Bulls, so don't get it confused with the murderer or the Heat J-Will. Both of these guys have been set back with some terrible situations. Jay Williams got into a motorcycle accident and he hasn't played in the NBA since his rookie year. Wagner, after a promising rookie season, has some sort of bladder problems and at one point was on the verge of death. But both of these 2 young guards are set to make a comeback for the 06-07 season. In fact, Jay was working out before this season, but decided he was only at 85% and was gunna wait one more year. I am a huge fan of Jay-Will and I hope he comes back strong. Same with Wagner, I always liked his game, he could really score and was very explosive. Who do you think will have the better comeback year?
This is tough. I would have to go with Jay Williams because he really wants get back and it seems like he has more motivation to coming back and playing once more. He will have a good year.
I'm going to say Jay because bladder problems are serious, you never know if its gone or not. Jay had a life-threatening incident as well, but its not going to come back and haunt him imo. But personally, I want both of them to come back and play. Dajuan had great scoring ability for a rookie, and Jay was another play-making PG in the making.
I havnt seen much of either but I will say that Jay will come back stronger because he doesnt have as serious an illness that Wagner has. I dont even know if Wagner will ever come back. Poor kid.
Daijun Wagner, because he did 10 times better than Jay Williams in his rookie season, and plus, Wagner is a Memphis Alumni...

Um no. Jay did better, because of his all around game and playmaking ability, plus the way he turned it on in the 2nd half of the season. Wagner was a good scorer, but inconsistant and shot a low percentage in the NBA. I respect you taking the hometown man but saying his rookie season was better (let alone 10x better) is rediculous.
I want to see both of them do well. Although Dajuan was the better scorer and maybe the better athlete, I don't think he'll be as good as Jay because Wagner's problem was health related and I don't know how it'll effect his body when he gets back into action. Jay Willaims just got into a pretty serious accident, he can come back and there is still a chance he could be the player he once was.
