There are indications that the Griz have joined a long line of teams trying to convince the New Orleans Hornets to part with one of their point guards: Chris Paul or Darren Collison.

    ...

Reportedly, the Hornets informed suitors that they must be willing to also take on one of their weighty contracts in any proposed deal.

Peja Stojakovic (one year, $15.3 million), Emeka Okafor (four years, $48 million) and James Posey (two years, $13 million) are among the contracts the Hornets might want to unload.

Paul's an all-star and all-nba defensive team type player. Bulls have the cap space to absorb one of those contracts. Okafor would give us a solid big to go with Noah and Taj, and he's only 27. He played 82 games but only 28.9 MPG, but still grabbed 9 boards and scored efficiently in the post. Okafor has 4 years on his contract, starting at $11.5M ramping up to $14.5M.

    We'd move Rose to SG.

I see this as a backup plan if we don't get to sign a LeBron or Bosh type FA. Or we could do it if we did an S&T of Deng to Cleveland for LeBron.

I dont like Rose bein at 2, if we get Collison, he can move there. Didnt he play that at UCLA? if not, he can always just back up derrick. Now if we get Paul, hell I think we could move him to the 2. He's a much better shooter than derrick. But who would we give up?

Idk bout Emeka, Ive never liked him that much. I do like the look of Peja's expiring contract tho

Bullshooter claimed that with Hinrich starting, HE was the PG and Rose played SG. So why not have the ultimate PG to play next to Rose?
