http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/blog?name=nba_draft&id=5301543 My one little tidbit here: I'm surprised that all but two teams have Evan Turner at #2. I'm going out on a limb. Evan Turner is my sleeper "bust." I think he'll be a Dunleavy type journeyman, but never a star. My sleeper "star" is Wes Johnson (although he's #4 already... but I think he'll be the 2nd best player of the class after Wall) I edited most of the article due to the fact that the insider is a pay site. I probably left too much, but anyway, we cannot post entire articles, especially articles that require a pay subscription. truebluefan
I'll pick Derrick Favors as a "bust." He is still 18 so it's hard to tell, but he seems overrated. In the GT games, he did not make much of an impact. I doubt he'll grow to be another Dwight Howard. I think Demarcus Cousins will rise above Favors since he seems more polished offensively and ready to play, so he'll be my sleeper star. If Minnesota won't pick Cousins, I see him going #3 to the Nets or #5 to the Kings. Riley said not to worry about Cousins work habits, so I would not mind if he falls to the Warriors.
I could see both Favors or Turner ending up to be disappointments but I doubt either one will be an outright bust. Yeah Favors most likely won't be anywhere near Dwight Howard but I think Al Horford type of player is more realistic (maybe with more skill) and his downside could be like Okafor or Kenyon Martin. Turner could end up like a Jim Jackson. Good swingman who does a lot of things well but isn't great. I think he'll be pretty good though. Again, maybe not as good as the guy hes often compared to in Brandon Roy but pretty darn good. I like both of them though and I think they'll both be good players.
