I've learned my lesson from message board insiders.

Crack is a helluva drug. :biglaugh:

BTW - you want a prediction? Blazers deal #22 for 2 future 2nd round picks.

It's a nice idea, but I'd bet a cool 10 grand that it's total bullshit.

Hell I wouldn't be surprised if they trade the 22nd pick and try to move back to the top of the second round this year. But in any case, I think you're probably as close to the truth as anyone.

Did you read down below he said Aldridge, Bayless, Rudy and Przybilla for Bosh. That's fair and Bosh gets a maxxed out contract and has a shot at rings with Roy and Oden.

I like this trade myself. You would have to mess around with the salary cap stuff but the essence would be:

Przybilla, Bayless for Brand and the #2.

Then trade Washington #2 + Aldridge and Rudy for #1 pick.

    Wall/Miller
    Roy/Webster
    Batum/Webster/Cunningham
    Oden/Brand/Pendergraph
    Camby/Oden/Brand

    I like that depth chart.

Washington has an amazing team too:

    Arenas
    Evan Turner
    Howard
    Aldridge
    McGee

That's 5 solid players and a better looking team then Wizards have floated in years.

Who knows. To be honest T. parker sounds like he is the most likely option.

I would go nuts for Wall, Bosh, Paul or D. Will.

I would be ok with Parker and maybe Nowitzski might work well with Oden and Roy.

I would be crushed if it was Stoudamire or Nash.

Most of the other possibilities are equally lame.

I feel like we are angling for a big time scorer or a PG. I also feel LMA might be on the block. I believe he should be. Roy and Oden (if healthy) are the cornerstones with Batum as another untouchable. I wouldn't trade Batum unless it was for LeBron. Batum excites me as much as Oden in a different way. I'm a BIG fan of defense. Those two are anchors to any defense. Outside and inside a deadly combination.

Really I think anyone other then Oden, Roy and Batum should be movable for the right player. Even Oden could go for Chris Paul.

Look for Post #18. The post # is in the gray bar for each post.

The ESPN moderator went lightly on that thread. Only one post is deleted in the whole thread. This historically low amount of ESPN mod terrorism is a record low.

All we know about the missing post is that it contained no cuss words, no belittlement of others, no reason to be deleted, probably had a link since the mod company, Mzinga, hates links, and was probably the most thought-out post in the thread and took the writer 45 minutes to research and write.

That works out to Aldridge, Przybilla, Bayless, and Rudy for Wall. Plus we have to eat Brand's contract.

Not sure I like that. Especially because I don't think there is that much difference between Wall and Turner, talent wise.

Yes I think I would, and the Hornets might be able to sell it to their fans easier if Oden was included. From their point of view they would have a year to see if he had a chance to develop into an all-star and if not they can just dump him. I think a lot of the reluctance to trade Oden comes from fear that he might become a superstar, but I think looking at this trade from a risk reward viewpoint and what is the percentage of various outcomes, it would be a good idea.

He did a chat on OLive (unfortunately, not podcasted) on Thursday and repeated his initial claim of the Blazers looking to make a big splash trade-wise at the draft.

I can't wait for the draft to be over with so we don't have to deal with all these rumors. They're doing my head in

The terrorist ESPN moderator couldn't keep his hands off. Post #s 31, 32, 52, 54 have now also been deleted. That's 5 of the 56 posts in the thread, 9% deleted. It is now a typical ESPN thread.

The deletions are of TrueBlazerFan V. As the Roman numeral shows, that is the fifth incarnation of his name in the last month. He gets banned because he writes against Pritchard. Fuck you, ESPN and Mzinga !!

Which is why I left that board two years ago, but why worry about it now? :dunno:

I'm right there with you. Not so much can't wiat for the draft to be over, but somehow I am sucked into can't wait to see what happens with the draft eventhough the Blazers have the 22nd pick and it looks like the GM conducting the draft thinks he may be gone after the draft.

I must be a Blazer fanatic.

    Jason Quick said it's a 3-for-1 deal.

Various articles state that New Orleans wants to send Emeka or Peja's contracts along with Chris Paul

Doesn't this kinda rule out CP3?

    :sigh:

I'd look at it this way: if Okafor were making 5M a year, would he be "horrible"? Nope. And would I pay 20-25M per year for CP3 to be on my team? I think that's reasonable.
