WHAT a difference a year makes for frustrated England football fan Bob Cameron at the Wales Seniors Open at Royal Porthcawl.

This time 12 months ago Fabio Capello’s England were sailing through their World Cup qualifiers and being talked about as genuine contenders to lift the Jules Rimet trophy.

Meanwhile Sidcup-based Cameron was self-destructing on the Glamorgan coast after being first round leader.

Now the boot is firmly on the other foot with 57-year-old Cameron taking route 66 to hold a one-shot lead going into today’s final round on nine under par and Capello’s Three Lions in World Cup meltdown.
