As much as I hate the Lakers it is funny to watch the inside jokes between the teammates etc. Kobe really is a good teammate--he seemed to appreciate everyone.
I think Kobe has really matured in the last few years. He doesn't seem like quite the douchebag that he once was.
That was pretty hilarious. Totally agree with the comments about Kobe, seems like a funny guy and good teammate. I think he just always has that assassin look in game time, and it seems really cocky and arrogant, but he actually seems fairly humble off the court. I can respect that. That was funny! As far as Kobe, I agree he has matured, but always easy to be gracious in victory. Well maybe not for Kobe, so I guess he has mautured alot.
I almost found myself liking those guys. They seem to all be able to laugh with each other and at each other. Winning two straight titles probably helps with that chemistry, though.
In the press conference after game 7, I thought Kobe was talking a bit too much. Rambling about having more rings than Shaq, that's the kind of vague analysis that should be beneath intelligent sports discussion. He just has a better team now that's what a lot of chemistry comes down to. That interview was quite fun but remember it is just a ~4 minute clip. What he does on the court as an individual is what counts. I judge on that and try to remain neutral with my feelings. Edit:- Of course I understand why he was pissed with Shaq as well. The rap after the 08 Finals was obnoxious and Shaq was malicious. Fuck him. :]
