I hope you guys get off your computers long enough to spend time with your kids or dads! I'm not trying to make anybody feel sorry for the HCP, but I have no relationship with my father and up until 9 years ago, had no idea how special a day it is. Since having 2 kids, it has turned my life around and I know that you guys out there lucky enough to have kids know exactly what i'm talking about! (I know, I know.... I realize there are probably only about 10 of us on here who have had REAL sex with a human female that we either didn't have to pay for or blow up) On a serious tip, this will be the 4th straight Father's Day I have been working out of town and my kids now are old enough to know I'm not around. I love my career, but this is going to be the toughest one yet. I honestly hope you guys take the time to spend an amazing day with you family! Enjoy!

    Hello darkness, my old friend
It's nice that you enjoy Father's Day with your wife's children, despite not being the biological father. Since neither of you likely know the paternity of the children, you're doing an important thing.

    ;)

Happy Father's Day to you and everyone else.

I thank my father for his firm belief in equality of women. Seriously. I think my life would have been quite different if I'd had a sexist dad.

Made pancakes, saw Toy Story 3, got my older son a new bicycle, went to the playground and was dragged to dinner at McDonalds.

Wait, isn't Father's Day supposed to be for the dad? lol

Oh man, my son laughed so damned hard during Toy Story 3. I've never seen him so happy. The tortilla scene is pretty classic.

I don't really get why people are going to see it in 3D, though. There's not really a lot of cinematic reason for it, and it tends to dull down colors, which on Toy Story would seem to make a big difference. *shrug* We saw it in plain-ol' standard 2D and it was a blast. The little guys hate the glasses anyway.

It was a pretty great day. We had my son's birthday party the day before (he actually turns two Wednesday). Since we sang "Happy Birthday" to him Saturday, and his mom told him Sunday was a special day for me, he sang "Happy Birthday" to me. Also, he made me a card. Awesome.

My wife took me and the two little ones to Cannon Beach for the night. If I can hold my kids hands and walk down the beach its a perfect day.

BTW, Toy Story 3 was both incredibly funny AND a tear jerker. The tortilla scene had us peeing in our pants.
