Oklahoma won the last game yesterday so the field is set and bracket has been announced. Saturday TCU vs. FSU at 2 pm 3 Florida vs. 6 UCLA at 7 pm Sunday Oklahoma vs. South Carolina at 2 pm 1 Arizona State vs. Clemson at 7 pm Only 3 national seeds made it and we will have a completely new championship series as LSU and Texas both got eliminated beforehand. Florida/UCLA is the only matchup that pairs national seeds against each other.
First day wasn't very good 8-1 TCU win and 11-3 UCLA win. 2nd day had a 6-3 Clemson win and a 4-3 Oklahoma win. UCLA obviously deserved the win, but that was a very uncharacteristic game for the Gators. Gave up 5 either wild pitches or passed balls(3 runs scored on them), hit 4 batters, an error in the field, etc. They got that matchup with FSU today. FSU is already 3-1 against us this season. I expect the Gators to play much better. Today: 4:30 pm ET(now) 3 Florida vs. Florida State in an Elimination game 9 pm ET: TCU vs. 6 UCLA Tomorrow(Tuesday 22nd) 4:30 pm ET: 1 Arizona State vs. South Carolina in an Elimination game. 9 pm ET: Oklahoma vs. Clemson
Congrats to the Noles for knocking my Gators out. We played extremely sloppy again and didn't really get anything going until the 9th inning when it was too late. They will play the loser of the TCU/UCLA game that is still playing now. Luckily for the Gators they will return all their starters minus Matt Den Dekker(huge loss) and Jonathon Pigott(he was a part time starter, his bro is better anyway) plus likely our closer Kevin Chapman and middle relief Jeff Barfield. This team will be back and ready to prove that just making it wasn't a fluke,
