I agree. I agree. But I think it is debatable if it has sucked since 02 or 03. I think, personally, 03 was his last year that he seemed to at least be somewhat good. He made songs like Lose Yourself (Meh), We as Americans, and I think (not sure - could be wrong year) all the songs on 50 cent's get rich or die trying.
It's just hard to stay edgy and fresh in that industry. How many artists have had a great first album and disappeared? How many have had a great sophomore album and disappeared? The numbers dwindle until you find yourself looking at a handful of musicians who have staying power. I think that's why a group like the Beatles were so amazing, or even someone like Trent Reznor who has reinvented his music with every album.
