At least he lives, sort of. Male spiders try really really hard to get to a female without disturbing her web. She is sensitive to the slightest vibration. Poor eyesight, so eats anything that vibrates her web. Males don't spin webs, so these microscopic wimps have to crawl all the way up to wherever she is, tiptoe (so to speak) to her, try to mate and if he succeeds, gets his head bitten off afterwards. Not figuratively. Literally. Hey, I've known some women who wanted to do that with some men... That's why "Spiderman" cracks me up. The life of a male spider is far from heroic, and he does not have a web.
Well, his nuts live anyway. Come to think of it, though, if I only get to keep one organ alive besides my brain, the nads aren't a bad second option. Even if you have to rent space with 4 or 5 other guys' balls. You're right. It's worse being a spider.
Exactly. On a nutritional density scale, spinach is say an 800. Grain fed beef is a 10. Grass fed beef is a 20. Grass fed beef is twice of "good", yet still pretty awful nutritionally speaking.
Actually, I think my BIL's concern was more related to potential internal inflammation issues, as opposed to strict nutritional content.
