Re: USA vs England Australia would have to beat Serbia big, and Ghana would have to beat Germany big. But I believe its possible.
Re: USA vs England Mertesacker almost puts Germany ahead but Kingston keeps them in the game (again).
You can have whatever opinion you'd like. But if you do it here, we're going to give you shit. Is that sooo out of the ordinary?
Re: USA vs England I tend to agree with you there.. I'll quote what I told a friend of mine on facebook... "winners look for ways to overcome bad calls before they can happen. If the US is ever going to be on the same levels as the Brazils, Spains, Italys, Netherlands, Portugals, Germanys, Argentinas, Frances (although this year they suck) (need i name more countries?) then they will have to have more poise than they showed in the first half. They were heavy favorites to win, and the pressure was too much for them in the first half. IF they are EVER going to be in the top tier of Football, then they will need the poise, and ability to put teams away before bad calls ever happen. That said I agree it was a bad call, but dwelling on it when the team still holds its own destiny, is not the attitude the other teams would have."
Saying that if i dont like a team because of their fans and then calling me 12 because of that is out of the ordinary
Re: USA vs England haha! Its a good way to keep in touch with people I dont wanna talk to on the phone!
Re: USA vs England England never scored on Algeira, US scored twice (although one was taken away on what looks to be a bad offsides call). US also should have beat Slovenia but for a third goal inexplicably disallowed. On the other hand, if the Alegerian crossbar goal goes in or Green handles a relatively soft strike by Dempsy, the US could be walking away with 2 points and a disappointing end to the WC. I agree England's probably the better team, but in hindsight your flaming of US Soccer is looking a little foot-in-mouth now, which I find amusing.
Re: USA vs England Never said england scored on Algeria Again, i picked the USA to get out of the group, i expected them to lose to england... that is all...

One thing I can't figure out--why don't they allow instant replay? I mean christ, there are only a few points scored every game. Seems like they should have a referee sitting in a booth who can review the goal while the game continues on.
