That's a possibility, and is certainly PA's M.O. to not talk about anything publicly. But I think he could earn a certain amount of respect back if he faced the music a bit rather than letting Larry Miller do the talking for him. It wasn't Larry's decision to fire KP. PA doesn't have to necessarily tell every detail, but I think a lot of folks would like to hear from him since it was a pretty big deal. His public image isn't looking too great right now, but who knows.. maybe he thinks it's best to keep his mouth shut or.. he just doesn't a crap what others think of him. He's the owner, he's a billionaire and he doesn't have to answer to anybody.
Larry doesn't have enough clout to fire just anybody, especially the GM. It's ultimately PA's decision, isn't it?
No idea how it actually works at the Blazers, but usually a manger has the authority to fire his subordinates. barfo
I'm getting tired of all these Guards PA wants. I bet pritchard wants a more balanced bench and a center is what we needed in this draft. Przy's timetable is behind Oden, and we really needed another PF/Center position to address this teams needs. Howard can't do a center position again when hes only 6'9". Come on PA. I hope Mills gets traded, as hes just another bust that looked good on paper and PA wanted him and Pritchard wasn't too happy for him perhaps?
if there was a legal reason to fire prichard, then silence would probably be the best option for allen and miller and the rest of the executives.
Anyone hear this quote from Marcelius Wiley today? "Blazers just put a down payment on some bad karma."
