Rasheed Wallace (He likes to voice his opinion on things and speaks his mind)Jalen Rose (He has been on alot of broadcasts just voicing his opinion on things. It's evident that that's what he wants to do once he retires)Gilbert Arenas (Gilbert also says whats on his mind and likes to voice his opinion on things)Post your candidates.

I think a guy like Ray Allen would do good. Him and Bruce Bowen could work games together. [IMG] I think Jason Terry, Eric Piatkowski, Luke Ridnour, and Brent Barry would all do good jobs. They all are players that are real smart, so they would be able to explain the game pretty well.

Gilbert would be pretty damn entertaining to hear as an announcer. I agree with pistonz4life about Kobe. He seems to be very intelligent and knows the game well.

Any star is the answer to this question really. If you have a little fat white guy named Bostwick from Maine, who happens to be the best announcer in the world and knows everything about basketball, if you have a former NBA player going for the same job, you bet your balls the NBA player will get it.

But who should? Shaq (but I don't think he would) because of his knowlege and humor. Definitely Sam Cassell, just for the fact that he never shuts up about anything, he knows the game, and he's funny (one of a kind personality in pro sports).

Antoine Walker actually would be great. You may not like his game, but whatever, he is always a great interview, he is funny and likes to joke around, he knows the game, and he explains things well. And for some reason (don't know why) I just can picture Wally Szczerbiak doing it.

But good christ, could you imagine Sam Cassell, Charles Barkley, and Kenny Smith on the same show? LMAO wow.

Gilbert Arenas. Not a fan of his, but he was just so smooth when he guest appeared on the ESPN halftime show. Anyone could've easily mistaken him for an anylyst, not knowing who he was.

No for Shaq. He's funny and all, but half of the time, you can't understand what he says or are just sick of his voice.I like Brent Barry in this topic. Fluent speaker, great knowledge, kind of like Steve Kerr.
