Best news so far this offseason as far as I'm concerned. I think next year is the start of him entering his prime, and if he stays healthy he will be dominant. Couple that with breakout seasons from Batum and (hopefully) Oden and the Blazers will be in good shape.

Gonna be a looooooong offseason. I'm ready for Blazer basketball!

What's your opinion on him HCP, does he seem to be fully recovered from the knee? Lookin like he's gonna tear it up next season?

i was joking about playing with him, but I was out there playing with John Townsend and ran into him. He was on the stairmaster sweatin' his ass off! Looked great, but I didn't get a chance to see him on the court. His style definitley takes a toll on his body(see DWade) but I can tell you, with a healthy Greg, he won't have to attack as much.

Not fair. Dance Dance revolution really isn't his game. Man up and go against Greg, pretty boy.

He said he was going to lose a little bit of weight this season. I think before he felt he needed to be heavier to take the pounding, but I think he'll be more agile and maybe not get hit as hard being lighter. Can roll with the bumps so to speak.

He doesn't need to be lighter so much as better conditioned. I don't want to read any more stories this summer about Roy not being able to keep up with Jay Jensen on bike rides, or playing at a slow pace in games so he doesn't get tired. I've mentioned previously, most injuries occur when the body is fatigued. The off-season is the time to build up that fatigue-resistant fitness.

I had heard that's exactly what he's doing.

What the hell does 'trimmed up' mean? I thought you trimmed down (lost weight) or bulked up (gained weight).

    Go Blazers
