    Hello darkness, my old friend
    Meh. The GM equivalent of:

"With no hope of successfully prying San Antonio's Tony Parker or New Orleans' Chris Paul away from their respective clubs, Portland has Steve Blake high on its list of potential long-term point guards."

    No shit.

While it might not have worked, Ferry traded or signed Mo Williams, Shaq, Jamison and drafted Hickson, Gibso a d Brown late in round 1. He also seems to work well with a below average coach

Ferry's OK. He doesn't get me excited but he'd be a solid choice. He certainly fits the description with what Larry Miller said the franchise wants.

Someone who won't make waves, who will heed the owner's advice, and who will shun the spotlight. "Yes Man" has entered the building.

You clearly don't know anything about Ferry.

I'm not wild about Ferry, but the real question isn't whom the Blazers are looking at, it's who is looking at them?

I don't know. 1253 Blazer fans? Anyhow, trading for Jamison put Ferry in the same position as Pritchard right now ... unemployed.

I'd rather Pritchard had been able to close the deal on Camby. Shame that didn't happen...goes to show the guy couldn't make midseason deals to improve the team. Too in love with his guys like Blake and Outlaw.

I was going to say 3. You are probably closer, but not by much.

Trading for Jamison did not put Ferry in the same position as Pritchard. It had nothing to do with it. KP was fired, Ferry resigned. You're wrong, but I'm not going to expect that you start understanding basic logic now.

So, they're both not unemployed? I guess I do need some help in logic. If Pritchard had resigned instead of waiting to be fired, would that mean that he's a different type of unemployed? Help me out here, Socrates.
