    I don't know how someone as great as Fedor is, and having beat all of the guys he has, loses like that. He looked like someone in their first fight just firing punches with no worry about the other guy. Very Brock/Mir part 1 like.....

    I can only imagine what Dana is going to be chirping about this.

    Honestly, though--the notion was this guy would never tap. Never.

    He's walking out of the cage now with no broken bones and he wasn't put out. WTF? Does he still want it?

    I was waiting and waiting and waiting for a Rampage-style slam and it never came.

    I mean he lasted in that triangle for a long time but damn, I never thought it would end like that. He's been in bad spots before, like when Hunt had him in side control working his arm. He just calmly works through it and eventually comes out. Not this time...

    Also, Frank Shamrock is a POS. The whole announce team is trying to sort this out and Frank starts going on about when he was champ and he never wanted to tap, etc.. Fuck off, Frank.

    You could see his head was turning purple. He REALLY did NOT want to tap.

    Man, this day for me has been complete shit. U.S. lost, and now one of my favorite fighters goes down in the biggest upset of his career. :(

    Very shocked he lost. I don't know how many of you will believe me but I looked at my GF and buddy tonight, before the fight, and said Fedor was going to lose.

    I'm just shocked my wild feeling was right. I'm not surprised he tapped though. Did you see how blue his lips were after he stood up?

    I feel sorry for Fedor's next opponent, though. I don't think he stands much of a chance @ walking out of the cage.

    This is hard for me to swallow, Fedor being invincible was one of those things in life that I have accepted as inevitable along with death and taxes....now, well if Fedor can lose maybe there's someplace where hamburgers eat humans... mellow-drama aside, everyone loses sometimes, GSP lost to Serra. Maybe this is the spark that Fedor needs to take his training to the next level or maybe he's just on the decline.

    I doubt he's on the decline. The fight didn't show that at all. He got over-anxious (weird saying that about Fedor) and sloppy (also weird). He jumped into the guard of a great BJJ guy and paid the price. He went in with no fear and got himself caught in a deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep triangle.

    And I hope Liddell watched this fight. That is how you get caught Chucky, not by being knocked out with solid fucking punches. Every time the bastard gets KO'd its because he got caught. Lolz. Fedor got caught. Chuck did not.
