Brian Berger: Interesting Inside Info about KP

Speculation is king in these parts. Always has been, always will be.

 

I don't know him, I don't have any personal experience with him and I tend not to make judgements about people's truthfulness or duplicitous nature until I've been given evidence one way or another. All I know is that we now have two people who have gone on the record contradicting the image that KP was the golden boy he was made out to be. It's food for thought, nothing more, nothing less.

 

Everything is based off of Steve Patterson, though. Everyone's pretty much circulating the same story, and looking at it as fact.

 

I find it interesting that a bumbling incompetent with no skills whatsoever like Kevin Pritchard was promoted to GM, much less allowed to keep his job for four years given how terrible he is.

Color me skeptical.

 

Two people, neither of who were even employed by the Blazers for the last 4 years, and their stories are the same. Plus, one works in PR, and a very negative personality just crawled out from under his rock of shame to try and rehabilitate his image. Yet you "assume" Berger is telling the truth? lol

Not trying to be combative here, but why wouldn't you assume he is telling the truth. I have never heard anything about Berger having an axe to grind.

 

I "assume" he's telling the truth? No, no I don't. Re-read what I wrote; I gave the caveat that "assuming Berger is telling the truth" then here is what I take away from his program etc. etc. etc. I neither assume he tells the truth nor do I assume he's lying. I "assume" he made some statements that stand out because they are so starkly different than the image that has been painted about KP and the organization over the past 4 years. To me this is just fodder for conversation, nothing more and nothing less.

 

How would Brian know? Plus, his story is the exact same as Patterson's story. The only guy he's making look good is Patterson. Plus, Brian is in PR.

Connect the dots. I'll get confirmation, if I can, tomorrow.

 

Semantics, but you did say you were "assuming" Berger was telling the truth. Whatever, though. I obviously am not fond of Brian. I'll eject from the thread now.

I don't mind that you have differing opinions, but it drives me crazy when you are called out on facts and you still admit no wrong.

 

"Assume" is a direct verb with very obvious meaning. Perhaps you need a refresher course in basic English?

I wasn't wrong about Danny Ferry, he wasn't fired. He resigned. You were wrong, that's a fact. I didn't "run away from the thread", I continued to post in it, just didn't respond to you cause you are a troll.

 

Berger basically just gave us a recap of what we have already heard in the last 4 days. (Accept for the AMorrison-KP-Broy thing) He is making it sound like he has first hand knowledge. He maybe right, but i got the feeling it was all from Patterson. And I kind of believe it too. At least until i hear someone in the "know" say Patterson is full of shit.
