Exactly. All due respect HCP, but from where I stand he has just as much credibility as you.

This is the guy that said Roy wasn't cool with KP because KP supposedly wanted Morrison over Roy. I then dig up information where Roy finds out McMillan wanted Morrison, and Roy laughs and says he's going to get on Nate for saying that.

Hard to believe anything this guy says. Barrett already has conformation from Allen that KP was in charge of the 2006 draft.

    This guy is nothing.

What all of this hullaballoo is telling me is that there is a wide gulf within the Blazers organization, one pro-Pritchard and one anti-Pritchard. Both sides are exaggerating or minimizing his impact on the organization. Both sides are using their preferred outlets to get their side of the story across.

Yep. It's fucking shocking reading some of the posts on here.

2 days ago nobody but PapaG and HCP knew who this guy was.

Now all of us do and the majority ACTUALLY THINK THIS GUY IS LEGIT.

Wait a minute.... He works in PR? NOOOOOOOO WAY!!!!!!

    You fucking mellons.

Ferry won't come to Portland because CLEVELAND schools are better? Haha.

With his money, Ferry having his kids in public schools in either Cleveland or Portland is a huge red flag for me when assessing his judgement. :)

Either way Ferry "quit" his job because of a meddling owner. That doesn't bode well for Portland's chances, as if he's necessarily a great candidate anyways.

Trying to get over the KP firing, but when they finally hire the next guy(it's been months now, find someone already) it'll just piss me off because he won't be as good as KP.

Depends on what you mean by as good as KP.

Kp was bad at trading, and acquiring FA's. Apparently he was bad at negotiating contracts. Depending on who you believe, KP's drafts consisted of Oden, Bayless, Batum, Rudy, Koponen and Freeland. Or Aldridge, Roy and Sergio. Aldridge, Roy and Batum were all good picks, but what about the others?

The next GM could be Presti or West.....I don't think it will be, but it could be. How would they be worse?

This certainly isn't my opinion. Same thing with his drafts. We'll just have to disagree on what happened there. I think I'll side with Paul Allen's word though.

The next GM isn't going to be Presti or West. Have to get over that right now.

Presti is impossible. He's under contract and there is no way OKC releases him to go work for a conference rival. That's ridiculous to even suggest.

West is technically possible, but such a long-shot as to be pretty unreasonable to bring up as a possibility.

The most likely outcome, is that the new GM will be about comparable to KP. He won't make fewer mistakes - just different mistakes. The second most likely outcome, is that we get stuck with another John Nash. The least likely outcome would be to get somebody like Presti or Petrie who might actually be an upgrade.

I believe Presti's contract ends June 30. Regardless of his availablity, I agree it's highly unlikely that he would come here.

Odd that OKC hasn't extended him. Even odder if Pritchard takes his job.

If Presti's contract does end June 30 that changes things. I figured he was still under contract.

He's the closest thing to Pritchard.

Why wouldn't OKC extend him? Perhaps Presti asked for a raise? ;)

It would be funny if Pritchard and Presti swapped jobs. And houses. I wonder if Presti has a cheerleader girlfriend in OKC? They could swap those too.

    Mike Kekich-Fritz Peterson?

On a complete tangent to my tangent, I know Mike Kekich's brother very well.

Question is, why would Portland want him? He can't make the big trade!! He hasn't consolidated his roster yet!!
